In the book called "Lockdown" so far I am only 4 chapters in. The main character is a boy named Adam. He had a science class together with Josh and other students when something happened. In the science room they have a pet hamster that they bred. The hamster has babies and the students were desperate to view the hamsters babies. But Josh was very upset of how they kept scaring the hamster with all the loudness.
The problem in the story so far is that the students wouldn't leave the hamster and it's babies alone that it caused one to be dead. Josh kept telling the students to please leave the hamster alone that they are scaring her. One student was rude and opened the cage up and touched the hamster and the little hamster lunged at the student for touching her. The hamster then took the baby hamster by her mouth and moved it to the other corner of the cage. She reaches back for another of her young and puts it in her mouth. The students wait for her to drop it like she did for the other one. But she doesn't. She closes her eyes and tosses her head back. The teacher groaned,"Oh no."
